Maddie was the first Keskai Akita to be awarded the title of Champion. Maddie had 5 C.Cs 2 Best of Breeds & 6 R.C.Cs. Among her many outstanding wins, Maddie had a Crufts C.C & Best Bitch & Reserve Best in Show at the first ever U.K Akita Championship show.
Maddie was owned by Shirley & Carl Jones & was the foundation of their top winning Oktumi kennel. Maddie produced multiple Champions & was Top Akita Brood Bitch in 1995. The most famous of her progeny was the fabulous Bitch BIS CH. Oktumi Love Action. Paris won the Utility Group for 2 consecutive years at Crufts & is a past Bitch breed record holder, she is also the 3rd consecutive Bitch in her Bitch line to hold the title of Top Brood.
